July 15-19, 2019
If you will be in 7-12th grade during the fall of 2019, get amped for camp!!
This will be an incredible time for our young people to be encouraged in their walks with the Lord, challenged in their pursuit of Him, while having an absolute blast. We hope you can join us!
5 Ways to Support Journey Youth:
Journey Youth Ministry has an incredible group of students getting ready to set off to camp! We believe that camp can be a life changing experience for many young people - as we come together to seek the presence of the Lord. However, our students need your help - our goal is to raise $4,000! If we can reach this amount, it will cover the travelling and registration expenses for the entire youth group!
Ways to support our teens:
1. Perform or Attend During Open Mic Night -
Solo Act Registration - $10
Group Act Registration - $20
General Admission - $15
Our goal for this event is to create a greater sense of community, have quality family fun, and raise funds for summer camp. The first act will take the stage at 7pm on Friday, May 24th.
The stage will be open to the community, but all acts must be church and family appropriate. We reserve the right to deny stage time to acts that do not follow this standard.
2. Make a pledge for the Walkathon -
Our students will walk from 8am to 8pm (12 hours) on May 28th to raise money for camp. Pledges can be given by hour, mile, or as a one time donation.
However, there are more ways to support our youth during this event than financially giving. Some ways may be: donating snacks, preparing lunch, or by joining us for a while during the Walkathon to encourage our students!
3. Make a Donation -
If you are interested in financially supporting a teen or making a donation to the group as a whole - please contact Sophie Graves at email@example.com.
4. Sponsor a Project -
We have incredible people that are stepping up to sponsor projects at the church. An example of this is that a donor has funded the youth to fix and repaint the deck at the church building, and because of their hard work, has gifted a donation toward the overall fundraising goal for summer camp!
5. Please be in Prayer for our Students -
We are expecting the Lord to do phenomenal things while we are at Camp! We would appreciate it if you would be in prayer for our hearts to be tuned into what God is trying to do while we are away, that each of our students and leaders has a personal encounter with the Lord, safety in traveling, financial provision, pray against spiritual attacks and distractions, that His favor will be over our efforts as we put on several fundraisers, and most of all, that the Lord is glorified in all that we say and do.
